You know how people do stuff, they’re trying to do their best, solving a problem, and they end doing something different entirely, because to tackle their task with the utmost efficiency, they need to reinvent the wheel. I know people like that. Heck, I am one of them. I can see the solution, but I want to be sure to get it right. That leads to researching and designing alternatives to tackle the problem, and these alternatives need further improvement before they are implemented, and so on.
Maybe we should just stick with 5 men turning the chair to screw in the new bulb instead of designing a new way to turn the chair.
